Rusty is a 9 year old orange and white cat with three legs. On 1-1-10 we let Rusty go outside like he usually did for three years. He usually came back between 7:00 and 9:00 so it was 10:00 at night we were really worried we were about to go look for him when all of a sudden we hear a “meow” like usual so we opened the door to let him in and we saw that he was limping and had a bullet in his leg. We called the vet immedantly they were closed. The next morning we took him to the vet. They said that we could get his leg amputated or put him to sleep but of course we wouldn’t do that so they amputated it. The Vet said it was going to cost alot so our Granny paid for it. Now we don’t let him go out by himself. Rusty is now a very happy cat and gets around like he was born with three legs. he loves babie’s, kid’s, and adult’s alot.
